We are pleased to announce two meetings of the series Not Only Physics (not only for physicists!), during which former SISSA PhD students in Physics will share with us, in an informal chat involving two alumni, their experience in pursuing a successful career outside academia, in major national and international companies (details are provided below).
These meetings are meant to provide a physicists’ view on the current (non-academic) job market as well as a number of useful tips to those of you who are willing to explore it, including SISSA PhD students in disciplines other than Physics.
The meetings will take place in SISSA, room 128, from 14:00 to ca. 15:30, with the following calendar and guests:

Friday, November 17:

• Luca Capriotti (Managing Director, Quantitative Strategies at Credit Suisse, New York - PhD in 2000)

Friday, December 1:

• Valentina Riva (Head of Strategists at Mercuria Energy Trading, Geneva - PhD in 2004)
• Osvaldo Zagordi (Institute of medical virology, University of Zurich, data Scientist and founder of enGene Statistics, Zurich - PhD in 2007)
